Exhibitionism: The Rolling Stones

Saatchi Gallery, London
Curated by Ileen Gallagher
Designed with Abbott Miller and Will Russell (CD);

Spread out over nine thematic spaces in the Saatchi Gallery, Exhibitionism combined over 500 original Stones' artifacts to tell their fifty-year history. From the band's origin at Edith Grove to their rise to cultural icons, each gallery was uniquely designed, juxtaposing archival material, interactive elements, and recollections from the Stones.

The "Edith Grove" gallery uses supergraphics to set the stage for the storied meeting of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.

"Meet the Band" explores the moment the Stone's arrived as cultural icons, covering the floor with archival images of screaming fans and displaying an animated wall of their tireless tour schedule.
