Birds of a Feather:
Wildfowl Decoys at Shelburne Museum

Published by Rizzoli | Skira

Birds of a Feather celebrates the wildfowl decoy collection at Shelburne Museum, one of the most comprehensive collections of its kind in America. The book features photography of 250 of the museum's artistically carved decoys, supplemented by several essays that illuminate origins, construction, and attribution of bird decoys.

The book sets large titles and headings in Peter Bi─żak's History, a type family based on Roman inscriptional capitals. Text is set in Evert Bloemsma's FF Legato, which echoes History's diagonal stress and hand carved character.
